PUBLIC ART

An interesting thing happens when Visual Art leaves the confines of the exclusive Gallery and the private home and enters the Public domain.  I have always trusted when art is accessible to all folks driving by and walking the sidewalks.  Often Visual Art is at its best when it lives in the public arena, without the need to be purchased and only enjoyed by few.  The permanence of existing throughout the seasons is a challenge, and the interactions I share with my fellow contractors is always a gift which honors my concept of community.
